We’re in love with this cute fix from Kimberley Claggett!
“A while back I came across a pattern for knitted patches on the Purlsoho site,” Kimberley said. “It uses a short-row method that helps them curve nicely over the elbow. I was excited to try the pattern when husband’s everyday sweater needed patching. I was less excited when my favorite sweater wore out at the elbows a few months later. Our infant granddaughter had visited shortly before this, and she had a long sleeved t-shirt that had whimsical heart-shaped elbow patches. I was inspired and found a pattern online, and was very pleased with the results!”
We are, too – well done!
