We are high fans of visible mending here at The Daily Fix and Erin and I both enjoy browsing through the #visiblemending hashtag on Instagram and marvelling at all the wonderful creations.
Darning is a great way to fix tears and holes in fabric, and if you choose thread in a contrasting colour it can not only create an effective repair, it also makes a great statement and acts as a wonderful conversation starter.
If darning seems like one of the ‘dark arts’ and is a mystery to you, then check out this great You Tube video from Agy at Green Issues by Agy (one of the repair heroes behind the recently featured Repair Kopitam community repair initiative in Singapore.
