Remade in Edinburgh is a brilliant repair and re-use based social enterprise in Scotland that hosts repair drop-ins, reuse workshops and skill courses to give people the knowledge and tools needed to convert unwanted or broken things into useful and nearly always BEAUTIFUL objects!
Their mission of encouraging skill and idea sharing and seeking an alternative to a culture of cheap disposable items is one we love!
And they need your help – they have made it through to the final of the Social Enterprise of the Year Awards, and need 10,000 votes to win!
You can vote online at www.the-sse.org/SEYA/ and by texting ‘SEYA Sophie’ to 67076. All texts are free (in the UK) and each person can vote once by each means, so that’s two votes each!
If you have a spare minute to vote, do show your support for this fabulous enterprise and help them build a sustainable, zero waste culture.
